The socks in reality, are noticeably lighter in colour than the photograph would suggest... but in fairness, advertisers always warn about the affects of various screens on actual colours. I'm certainly not unhappy with them. I wanted blue and I got blue, so no complaints. The socks aren't the heaviest, but for the price, they're ok. I bought them for a particular event. They'll serve the purpose they were bought for. I quite like the design around the top of the socks
