      Flimsy hinge, defeats the purpose of double hinge.

      I am a restaurant server & very used to opening bottles of wine. The double hinge is to pull cork out half way with the first part then use the full to pull out the rest of the way. I have never had any issues with any double hinge wine corkscrews. This one has a flimsy double hinge & makes it extremely difficult to open a bottle, even if I try to skip the first pull & go straight to just one pull, which defeats the purpose of the double hinge, it is so flimy at the hinge that it still is difficult. So, I don't recommend this corkscrew, I guessit is a cheaply made version. Sad to offer a bad review on anything. Also, it was my first pink one, boo.

      You get what you pay for

      The corkscrew is made of press metal, not solid metal. When compare to a corkscrew made of solid metal it is not the same quality. The corkscrew end will slip of a wine bottle due to the design. I bought these corkscrews because they were inexpensive and to replace my solid metal corkscrew. You get what you pay for. The corkscrews are ok. This evaluation is not reflection on the vendor the the quality of the product.

      Not a good one

      I bought 2 of them and the 1st bottle I opened, I bartend, the sides of the double hing bent out and wouldn't grip the bottle to pull the cork. I never tried the other one, went back to my old reliable one
