could be better for the price
the extension cable could be a metre longer with a sturdier cable and a more visible volume control button the arc which fits the head could be padded and made easier to keep in place it was over £20 pounds but looks cheaper given modern technology and the brand should be a better product however it works quite well but not exceptional mf

Too tight and poor sound quality
Needed a pair of headphones for watching Blu-rays and TV at night, but needed a budget pair at the time. These seemed to fit the bill, I have had other JVC headphones that have been thoroughly excellent for the money. Unfortunately these do not fit into the same category. To start with the fit is extremely tight, to the point where I have to take a break watching a film to give my ears and head a rest. my head size is exactly average for a man, not large or small. To be fair to JVC, it seems at the moment that this is the trend with most makes. They try to make the headphones fit as tight as possible to give a noise cancelling effect, so many people do not understand noise cancelling that the manufacturers are just making them fit tight. The sound is a definite meh. really rather flat ... Needed a pair of headphones for watching Blu-rays and TV at night, but needed a budget pair at the time. These seemed to fit the bill, I have had other JVC headphones that have been thoroughly excellent for the money. Unfortunately these do not fit into the same category. Seem like good quality headphones
I was pleasantly surprised by the good sound quality from these headphones since they were so cheap. I find them very comfortable and they fit completely over my ears unlike some which aren't quite big enough to cover the entire ear. They are adjustable so that the bit going over your head doesn't have to rest on the top of your head. The cable appears strong and is extremely long (I knew this before buying). I have used them for Netflix movies on my phone and laptop while my wife watches something I'm not interested in on the TV, and she says she cannot hear any noise leakage from them even though I have them turned up pretty loud. I've also used them for music and again the sound quality seems good, though I'm by no means a sound expert (experts would probably buy much more ... It suits DJ's as well , because the phone "cups " can be independently turned up , so one ( or both ) of ears can hear the ambiance sounds and voices temporarily . If you want to use this to listen to TV , buy something with longer cable , or buy some extension audio lead . It is inexpensive and very good value for money . Recommended .It is comfortable . Pros: + Good price + Solid built + Volume control + Decent length lead Cons: - Bit heavy - Not really suitable to wear with the glasses - Have to lift them from time to time to let your ears breathe Overall, good value for the price. I would say that this is as good as you will get for the price.
