Not a good experience and did not honor terms of agreement. Everything from the packaging to the product was not as advertised. Package shipping seen below (was not damaged but was arrived in the manner as sent. Very disappointing...don't lose money with this seller.

    Melnor HydroLogic Digital Programmable Garden Water Timer. Nicely built and affordable. Better settings than closely priced timers. Metal connector. Clear easy to read screen. Can set timer to come on every 1,2,4,8,10,12 hours for as low as 1 minute to 360 minutes. I have it in my greenhouse on a mister system set to come on every 2 hours for 15 minutes all day to cool down the plants. I would of gave 5 stars if you could set end times. Timer runs around the clock, so if you don't want it to run a night you'll have to press end cycle every night and press on every AM.

    Easy with a little trial and error

    I bought this device for my straw bale garden because it needs regular light watering to maintain moisture. When I first set it up one of the ports was stuck open so I Couldn't turn it off. I unplugged the batteries and let every thing reset for about 5 minutes. Once I plugged it all back up again all ports worked perfectly. The programming is fairly straight forward but also a little frustrating at the same time. I can set it to water every 12 hours but I cant tell it to water zone 1 at 10 am and 6 pm for example. Other than that small hiccup with set up and that one limitation I am loving the system.

    nice small timer.

    i bought this a month ago. put it to use and it has work perfect so far. no complaints. waters twice a day with no issues. its a very nice timer. just remember it is plastic.
