    Let justice prevail.

    Great film but this copy has very poor sound and picture quality. It’s not really a Bogie film as he just tells the story and pops in and out doing a cameo roll. Another issue is the protagonist who after the suicidal death of his young wife you don’t care for him a hoot for. That being said the long speech in his defence does somewhat fall flat on its face. Whatever you did positively for this young man he would have sooner or later turned into a rat!

    Noir dream team deliver the (social) goods!

    One of Bogie's less well-known roles as attorney defending teenage delinquent (played by Bo Derek's future husband, John!) Directed by Nicholas Ray. Classic courtroom scene in this rarity, a Film Noir with a social message.
