Seller insisted I repaired at my own cost - and refunded me less than half of the repair and carriage cost for the repair. Risky buying high value equipment when seller does not take care. He tried to sell me another pair of speakers and then admitted his wife had damaged it. Nightmare. Item was tested and functional when it left and then the buyer claims there was damage (no doubt caused by his sloppy transportation and little or no padding in his vehicle). He then starts harrassing me so I told him to return the item. He chose to keep it and his repair bill was £80 (a solder joint). I gave him £52 as he had previously arranged collection and failed to show up, costing me £28 in storage fees.
