The seller thought his method of packaging would be better than the manufacturers packing (he told me it was to save postage money 😠), and as a result my item arrived with damaged packaging(broken airtight seal). Because of this my guitar strings had already started to oxidize and when I strung them up the high E string snapped instantly. Seller was unwilling to rectify situation or offer any solution or help regarding this. You have admitted that the strings arrived undamaged. Oxidation is something that would take years (not hours) to have any impact on the integrity of a guitar string. You sadly broke the string when tuning your guitar to a pitch that was too high. While we are sympathetic to your disappointment, just as I would be if a nail punctured my car tyre the day it got fitted, it doesn't make it the seller's fault.
