    Excellent straw.

    Excellent barley straw. Good sized bales, conveniently boxed as I don't want to use a whole bale at a time so it's easy to store. Using it as ground cover for my locked up hens. It's clean and there is plenty of it, will be ordering again as hens will be locked up for goodness knows how long with avian flu about and its preventing the polytunnel floor turning into a mudbath.

    Excellent straw

    Needed a large bale for my chickens. This is fantastic quality, lovely clean, bright straw. It is of course more expensive than getting a bale from a local farmer but it cut out all the hassle of finding nice quality straw, collecting it (and as this bale comes already in a box) finding something to store it in. It is a large bale and will last my girls all winter on a weekly freshen up on top of their sawdust. If you want a quick, hassle free delivery of really good quality straw. This is it!

    Great for strawberries.

    I know, not the usual use of this high quality straw/hay, but I was informed that putting straw around ythe base of the plants it would fend off the damage caused by frost, I hope it works, I chose this particular type as it seems more likely to help than others. Mark BE SAFE

    I like this it smells lovely.

    This is great. Light so I can lift on my own. Smells lovely. Chickens love it. I just wish wasn’t so expensive. Also it comes packaged so it doesn’t fly about all over the drive.
