      A good compilation of lesser known 60s tracks by familiar artists.

      This compilation is part of a series from Now Music and contains 100 less known hits from the 60s by mainly familiar artists. I would have liked more details regarding each of the tracks on the sleeve but they are available on the website for download. I have only noticed three versions that are re-recordings as opposed to the original released version which is pretty good in my opinion. To sum up, A good compilation, reasonable price if you like that period of music history.

      This Cd collection fails to provide an effective alternative 60's collection.

      This Cd collection served as reminders of certain tracks not often included on standard box sets. However, one of the true greats, "Classical Gas" was not an original recording and so many proved to be fillers as opposed to providing the opportunity for the inclusion of the wealth of talent emanating from this golden era.

      Good stuff but not perfect. (What is?)

      A nice set of 60's stuff that doesn't feature on the usual best of the 60's cds. My only comment would be a few tracks are re-made versions by the original artists, eg Classical Gas, A Walk In The Black Forest and for me that's a bit of a let down, I want the original versions of the hits as I remember them from the charts (I'm 64 by the way and work as a DJ). So it's a good set but could have been better.

      Nostalgic

      Brilliant! Wanted this to relive the old classics that you very rarely hear, i takes me back to my sisters playing these on the Record player , i am a fan of old and new music but it is comforting during these times to take our minds back to a more stable place. I have never been a fan of the Now series as prefer to buy the individual artist but this has got some crackers on !....my son says that it's like hearing sounds from the Carry On Films!!!
