    Made back when actors really acted mostly on location and special effects / green screen were all but unheard of. *spoiler alert* This is the movie where Kirk Douglas did his own stunt involving "running the oars" so to speak. An exciting tragedy involving the consequences of choices, duty, secrets, and truth.
