    Works well once you get the hang of it

    It took a few days to get used to how to orient the headset to get it to fit into the case. It's pretty convenient and seems to provide some nice protection for the headset while making it easy to carry with me. The extra battery capacity comes in handy but is really more of a convenience factor. It's also a bit easier to plug the case in than the headset itself. Overall it seems like a good thing to get.

    Good idea - iffy execution

    it is a bit tricky to use.....not just a plug and go....it does not always connect with the charger bars on the earpiece, a little play in the fit and so sometimes it charges, and sometimes it does not....if it worked really well, it would be worth the money

    SHOULD ship with the Legend

    The Plantronics Voyager Legend is a good headset with a really poor mag-attach charging cable. The very short charging cable combined with the touchy magnetic connector results in an unreliable charging solution. This little box corrects those defects allowing you to not only make a positive solid connection for charging but also acts as a portable "recharger" which allows you to recharge the headset while on the road.

    Practical, smart design

    I always find it a 'win-win" when a device performs multiple functions well and Plantronic's charging case is a fine example of meeting two needs--protecting the headset when not in use and and charging the headset battery. Better yet, my Voyager Legend always comes out of it's case with the maximum amount of talk time, ready to go! Why aren't the "other" bluetooth headset manufacturers doing this? Guys wearing pants with small or snug pockets don't have many options for carrying a BT headset when it's not on their ear. And those pockets already carry loose change, keys, pocket knives and other scratchy objects that will mostly likely scuff, scratch or could crack the plastic lid/cover. I think a "rugged-ized" version made from aluminum composite or titanium (like those flashlights ...
