But, as others have said, removing the brush for cleaning is a bit of a process with too many screws; almost takes longer than the very quick cleaning process! So only 4 stars. But nonetheless I would recommend, particularly for the price. Strange that the compact model seems to have been discontinued - it doesn't appear on the Vax website itself, though you can find spares.
