Yes the length was exact in terms of fully extended but the product was advertised as such so no complaints there I think one must be aware of what the pipe is being connected to. I had difficulty with ducting to none too easy areas to get to or where tolerances may be marginally out as this pipe is not very forgiving. Product was delivered promptly
