They're hand made with dowel joints, so there are no unsightly screws on show. Unlike self assembly packs I've read about and seen reviews on, the wood of these obelisks is of good quality and painted with two coats of garden paint in the colour of your choice. They look so stylish - I just wish I had room for a few more! The seller is very easy to deal with and accommodating and the whole experience was excellent.
