One has to make sure that the red plastic parts are vertical before pushing down to secure them - this is almost impossible as you can't see what you are doing (they are under the top cover). I managed it after about an hour of trying but broke one of the red parts in the process. The instructions are not helpful. The product really needs to be re-designed or a warning given before purchase.
