    Worth every penny,

    Always spend as much as you can on oil, many people will choose the cheapest option when it comes to oil change What you have to realise oil is the life blood of your engine it goes to work from the moment you turn the key it does more than lubricant it helps to cool as well. I would especially recommend this stp treatment with an oil change . I would use a fully synthetic oil then add this after I have run the engine for about 5 minutes . By doing this you will get maximum benefit of stp and your fresh oil.This will give you maximum engine protection for around 10,000 Miles I have used stp in my discovery TD5 from new it’s now 17 years old with over 200,000 Miles on and still going strong. Regular serving is essential to achieve these Miles and stp oil treatment adds further protection.

    Possibly The Best Anti-Ware Oil Treatment Additive

    As an engine builder we have been using STP for over 40 years. When assembling competition engine rebuilds we would use STP to coat crank and cam journals prior to starting the engines and we felt at least that it provided great protection from a dry start and prior to the engine oil getting up to pressure to provide a full lubrication. In each service we carry out we always add STP Oil Additive to both petrol and diesel engines. Compared to an engine reaching early retirement, the cost of adding this extra protection to extend engine life, it has to be worth every penny.

    Excellent product

    I have used stp before and will always use it in future. It’s a very small investment for your costly car. And it does the job really well. It reduces the vibrations, unnecessary engine noise, smooths the engine. And I have a feeling it even helps in increasing fuel efficiency because of smoother engine. If you love your car buy stp for it, for long and healthy life of its engine

    Essential for older engines

    Used to use this in my old Diesel Discovery, at 200,000 miles it used a minute amount of oil between services and ran nice and quiet. Now she has sadly gone (dreaded rust!) am using this in my 140,000 mile Freelander.

    Noticeable difference

    Struggling for time to service my van, so brought this to tide me over. Immediate difference, engine much quieter, I think it basically replenishes the oils additives. Note, it's very thick stuff, stand it in a bowl of hot water for a while before pouring it in.
