I resorted to using a ratchet drive because the high torque and low speed needed to drive the pipe cutter risked burning out my drill motor. A small white plastic collar fitted to the valve housing obscured one of the red marks used to align the cutting head with the valve body. I eventually realised this collar wasn’t mentioned in the instructions and removed it……… problem solved!
