    Interesting but glad I didn't pay full price for a new one.

    Interesting information, a lot of good visuals, clearly explained and easy to follow, material is presented in a logical progression. Professor speaks clearly and is easy to understand. The constant view shifts between 2 cameras on the professor are slightly annoying and do not enhance the presentation. Well worth what I paid for it used, but I would not value it anywhere near the full price (several hundred dollars) asked by the maker.

    Good information, good graphics, so-so lecturer.

    I've used several of The Great Courses over the past ten years and I've found them generally good but variable in listen-ability [watch-ability]. This one has good information about interesting geological sites and formations around the world. The illustrations are good and they're enlightening but I sure wish the Professor was a bit more animated and personable. Maybe some lecturers need a live audience to present well? Still, it was worth my time and I learned a good deal.

    Fantastic Videos and Photographs and Geological Explanations

    I got this course mainly for the views of marvelous geography. But the professor presents each wonder with an explanation of its causation, which makes it easy to grasp and remember. The videos alone make it worthwhile.
