    Interesting premise and characters but the story is too complex to follow

    The President's Vampire does have a good foundation in terms of keeping the reader entertained. The novel is not great but not good either. I would say it's about average read with thrills placed here and there for entertainment value. The idea of a centuries old vampire protecting the presidency of the United States is interesting but not fully developed and leaves many blank spaces about the main character's past, motives and personal desires. Writing a vampire fiction might seem easy in this day and age, but this novel shows that it is not. Still it was a good try and I respect the author for his time and effort in creating this novel.
