      He tried to use it first as binoculars!

      Great piece of kit for curious youngsters. Bought as a birthday present for our three year old grandson. It took a few minutes to persuade him that it wasn't a pair of binoculars. He started on some of his small toys and graduated to a worm from the garden. What's next, we await with interest.

      Disappointed

      Disappointed with quality and magnification. OK for looking at dead bugs but not enough magnification to make anything else interesting. It is easy to use for little ones.

      Very good for small hands

      I bought this for my 5 year old grandson as he had asked me for a microscope for his birthday, so he could look at bugs. He was very pleased and started looking for things to put under it. I think it will keep him entertained. He likes moving the knob for different heights. It's made of thick plastic so should last a while.

      Cool for infant investigation
