I always follow the size chart given by seller, which in this case wasn't quite accurate. The pit-to-pit size of the Large is only just 21". Luckily, it did fit my husband, - but only just! It would have been buch better if it had been 21.5". Unless you like a 'snug' fit, you might be better getting 1 size larger in this particular polo shirt.

Luckily it was still in good condition even though being left outside on a neighbouring property
