    Better than what I have in mind.

    This is exactly the machine I always want after taking the coffee from office. Works the first time it was turned on. I could not imagine I have such a nice machine with such affordable price. Any other mchines are at least twice as this one. Perfect for family use with small number of people. Only part is the coffee ground is still wet, and it will take slightly more efforts to clean, but very satisfied due to its price. The bottom plate will collect residue coffee and water gradually, but I could not see where they come from. Will know after longer usage time.

    Expected more for the price and brand.

    I am originally from Italy, Gaggia brand it’s one of the best manufacturers for long time, but after I received this item I was disappointed, not made sturdy, it waste a lot of coffee and water, and the coffee it’s a bit weak! So overall not happy!!

    Amazing machine!

    Previous to this marvelous machine, I have owned other lower end superautomatics. This includes Saeco and Breville. This machine far exceeds the overall quality of either. The taste of the coffee (Espresso or Long Americano) is uniformly excellent...its upkeep is simple...and in light of the fact that tis machine is being sold refurbished for just $279 is just remarkable! It even makes great Cappuccinos and Lattes. Yes, the water tank is a little small. Yes, you will have to empty out the coffee grinds more frequently. Yes, I wish the steamer line for the milk was a bit longer, but these things are minor and forgotten once you start using it. Enjoy!

    Refurbed Gaggia Brera

    Well for the price it is hard to beat. Not as much flexibility as more expensive machines in terms of brew strength but it has worked flawlessly since I got it . For less than 300.00 it is a great deal. the reservoir and refuse bin are small so if you have a big family expect to empty dregs and fill with water multiple times. Great expresso. Nice well designed compact machine
