    Pretty good

    It is overall well made and well finished. I've bought about 5 of these banjos over time on behalf of students and at this price point they are quite fair for the money. Also bought around 6 of this company's ukuleles. This latest purchase has several notes that have fret buzz. This is either the fret wire below the note is a little high or the neck is slightly out of line and needs an adjustment. I can probably fix this with a few minutes and a file. At any rate it is the first out of a decent bunch that wasn't overall totally playable. It was packed carefully and in perfect tune out of the box. Some careful people thought about running their hands over it before sending it out. Good enough for a new player.
