        Best internet radio on the market

        If your like me and love your radio but having difficulty finding that station that really suits you and want to have the pleasure of a radio and being connected to the internet , but struggle with new technology then this has got to be the radio for you . It not only looks bold , beautiful and sounds terrific it is so easy to use . The setting up process could not be simpler believe me when I say normally I struggle but the manuel us so easy to follow anyone can do it . If your wanting something that looks solid sounds solid like radios used to do you can't go wrong with this Roberts radio a great brand you can trust.

        This radio for me has everything !

        This radio has everything ! For me it can be a little difficult to set up and discovering all the fine features, however this is due to my not being completely comfortable with internet/computer based tech. With the help of a friend who is familiar with modern technology I have discovered any genre of listening from worldwide stations which is great. I can also plug in my memory stick to play music I have recorded for my personal pleasure. The sound tones are fabulous. Favourite stations can be stored in the memory feature. I am truly delighted with this radio treasure !

        Good quality radio

        Roberts equipment is usually ok, DAB reception in my area is not very good, but this radio works pretty well at receiving signals so far. It’s easy to store up to 5 stations in the memory buttons, but not so easy to store any presets over 5 ☹️ would be nice to see Bluetooth tx / rx but not available on this set. Sound quality is excellent . Would be nice to have battery in there to enable use without a 240v supply. Bit on the expensive side, but you need to pay high price to get high quality in most things these days.

        A sound investment

        I already own a Roberts Stream 104 internet radio, so when I was looking for a stereo internet radio, such as the Stream 93i, I was familiar with the operating system. It’s a bigger radio than the 104, but the sound quality is far superior - not quite hi-fi, but better mid and lower frequencies than a portable radio, due to the rear speaker and larger cabinet size to compliment the front facing stereo pair, which gives a more immersive sound. The larger colour display is clear and informative, which helps in menu navigation. One of other things I like is the remote control, which has a weighted feel to it. As it stands, this is a mains only unit, although a battery pack can be piggybacked onto the rear, at extra cost to make it portable, but for me that wasn’t necessary at this stage. I’m ...
