        The Art of the Bookplate

        Rockwell Kent was the consummate devotee to the power of books. Not only their content but their very construction and embellishment was very much a religion to him. This book is filled with the many bookmarks he designed and engraved for his friends and customers who held the same reverence for the written word. The Art of the Bookplate is an impressivel history and pictorial record.
