It comes folded up, its quite thick felt material - not sure how you’re supposed to get the creases out, maybe steaming? I found the zips didn’t run smoothly and the handle was very cheap quality. But maybe if you need a travel hat box, its all you can get. However, it doesn't suit the purpose I want it for, I am going to return the item.
