Seller notes: “This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; the matchbook has ... “This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; the matchbook has had matches removed, striking strip shows wear with crinkling/creasing along/about base, there is rubbing to surface of paper, mild edgewear and associated corner wear, fading to interior cover with minuscule points of blemish/distress, light wear along/about folds, light wear to graphics, faint fading/smudging to whites, light warp overall due to storage. Overall paper quality is good; smooth/glossy, with good preservation of color/sheen and typography/graphics still sharp/clear. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The matchbook cover measures approx 1.5" x 4.5" and contains no matches, which was the acceptable guideline for matchbook collecting up until the 1960's and is part of a collection of over 2300 matchbook covers from the 1930's to the 1970's.”
