    Needed a quiet fan

    Quiet enough to use in counselling/Hypnotherapy room with clients. Not silent but it is good enough. Remote control is great & we've also used at home with no sleep disruption. Not perfect but I'm happy with it & after research into others I bought this one.

    Fan

    We bought this fan during a very hot spell, and boy am I glad we did, it is absolutely brilliant, even on low it cools the whole living room down, put it on the highest setting and it gets to cool, a great fan and a fair price,

    Quiet fan with numerous wind strengths.

    The fan is slightly noisy when starts up but settles down. Much quieter than our old tower fan. Good selection of wind strengths. Remote control is a nice idea for the bedroom. Hate the LED light which is too bright for a bedroom fan. Dislike the silver top. It would look better in black.

    Honeywell Quietset Fan

    This fan is everything the description portrays it to be and its slim shape is easily accommodated any where in the room. There is a small amount of self assembly involved and although it's pretty straight forward when it came to securing the small support from the base to the tower the screw point did not line up and although it appears to be quite steady, I would have preferred to secure it with the screw.

    The options for whether it's quiet is either yes or no. However it's somewhere in the middle - not quiet but better than some. would have preferred if the design wasn't so narrow at the base, but otherwise OK.
