    Good value

    The cowls arrived promptly and they are well made. They are easy to fit and should help to stop rain getting down the chimney and will definitely stop the crows from nesting! It's a pity that they are not made from a thicker gauge metal as they are a bit flimsy, but time will tell - for the price they are good value.

    Good product for the price.

    Did think it a bit flimsy when I received the first one we had 2 years ago. We live in an exposed location and it can be very windy. However for the price it hasn't been too expensive with the first one only lasting less than 2 years.

    Simple and sturdy; Time will tell

    The real test will be whether it outlasts the 12 months it's predecessor managed before disintegrating in a gale. First impressions are of heavily galvanised metal, simple construction and light weight so that it should resist the ravages of rural chimney life better than the rather overengineered jobbie it replaces. It was simple to fit securely in place and, for a chimney cowl, is not unattractive. It was also very reasonably priced, and made locally to me.
