As far as I can see there is no way of trimming the slats to a consistent neat length as this useless tool doesn't trap the slat firmly - in fact not at all! It requires that you somehow manage to hold the slats in EXACTLY the right position. Fiddly doesn't even begin to describe it. I'm seriously considering just throwing the blinds away and buying pre-sized units. I cheaped out: MISTAKE.

I ordered, and received the Cyan colour though, and can highly recommend these curtains. Lovely quality, quite thick with in built lining. They look far more expensive than they were! They have a slight sheen, and definitely block out the light. I can highly recommend them. Great seller, and communication.
