See my other review on the room stat for more detail (not tempted to write twice/a novel!) My main point there is these are not in my view sufficient for controlling the temperatures of rooms accurately, as with most trv’s their position right by the heat source (radiator) puts them wildly out despite the claim they are calibrated to allow for this. You need a room stat for each room also As a component as with other items on the system I do like the aesthetic compared to other smart systems, others seem to have lots of stupid window dressing on the stats particularly like Hard wood surround options or trying to do everything from one control..which then sticks out! and they are often like some sort of pebble with no corners I find it all pretty weak think it will date and become ... These wiser items are small, compact, the graphics/fonts are quite similar to ikea’s, the branding is unobtrusive (I’d be happier without it tbh) I don’t like obviously modern additions to my home which is pretty retro but these are ok sitting next to mid century items. These are way less ugly than manual trv’s This head I find quite fiddly to screw onto valve bodies (and I have the bodies drayton make for the system) they don’t thread down easily but you don’t need to take off often (I do when working on/draining the system just to be sure) They are easy to add to the systems app They are quiet enough in operation, I don’t find they wake me/don’t notice them opening The one in the room I need most control over I’ve found is already half way through its battery after one winter. Value wise I think there isn’t much in it with other systems £45 seems about average and for larger homes it is important to consider, as I use a stat in each room..each room potentially costs me £150? In components (stat £90, trv £45, valve body £25) not including fitting which I do myself.

Easy you use heating controls
These thermostates are simple to link to the hub via the Wiser app and manual adjustments are easy. A bonus is that it links to Alexa so we can adjust heat in most rooms by asking Alexa.
