    Excellent sounding speaker.

    The audio quality of this product is just as most of the reviewers describe it; awesome. The sound of the human voice is striking. Some of the controls could use some refinement. If there are adjustments I have yet to locate them on the Bose App after a week. It disconnects from bluetooth after a certain amount of inactivity and must be reconnected. Yet the best use is with wifi. There are presets on the top which can be connected to various networks which is convenient.

    Good product, but not loud enough for my tastes

    Great clarity! A bit of bass. Higher degree of treble. Not enough "boom!" This is the 500 series and is supposed to have more "oomph" than the 300 series. I expected a speaker with sufficient to lots of power, ample sound, and a substantial degree of "loud." The speaker plays nicely; whether music or movies via bluetooth, it does a good job. However, the extra boom and loud aspect of sounds/songs isn't there. The Bose app is useful to setup speaker. Once set, you can use the soft touch buttons on the edge. Occasionally, it would stop playing at random. Good to decent speaker, but for the price, I feel I can buy a speaker that is louder. Truth be told, I did. I found a "sound table" at Sam's Club for $269.99. Side by side, they were the same, until the volume started ...

    Great sound and features!

    I've owned Bose products for nearly 40 years, and the Home Speaker 500 doesn't disappoint - Alexa voice activation gives me access to several music streaming sites, and can perform a wide variety of tasks! I'm amazed at how it fills the room with crisp highs and deep, thundering (if you want it) bass, in a unit about 8" x 8". I have the Bose Acoustic Wave Music System, and I'm replacing it with the Home Speaker 500. A great upgrade!

    perfect... 99 out of 100.

    everything is perfect... except unable to use Google assistance from Hong Kong... Also... wifi only works for Spotify... not Kkbox etc etc music app from Asia. other than these, I have no complaint. oh... better with higher display resolution... existing one is too blur...

    Great Alexa-enabled speaker

    Great sounding speaker with a stylish look. The addition of Alexa makes it all that much better. Price is higher than it should be as it is with all Bose products, so had to wait until some gift card bucks and credit card rewards accumulated.
