    An arcade classic with its own version for the PC Engine

    Final Lap Twin in the arcades has two screens, a double cabinet with steering wheels and complete racing setups, which sounds like too much for the little PC Engine. This is more a version of its own, making a decent racing game. It's like Pole Position - you look from behind, have to take care with throttle, brakes, and gears -, but has a story mode which lets you "progress". As a racing game fan, I can say it conveys well the feel of speed, and it's fun enough to keep you trying. Plus, this is one of the cheapest titles you can find for a PC Engine. Indeed, there are better racing games for this console, but if you are starting to collect old consoles, and you have interest on the small NEC's marvel, you may start your game library with Final Lap Twin.
