From when I ordered it to when it arrived was about 8 days. 4 new 12" clamps for $84.83 total or $21.21 each. Reasonable price considering shipping. Before I bought it I asked though if it was the clamp with the yellow pads or the one with the black pads, because the product image showed 2 different clamps. The seller said it was the yellow model. I received the black model. (note: other differences aside from color). The return was no hassle and every communication was positive with the seller.

Works for my purpose...
Now that I have used the the Lyman Gen 2 Powder Scale to load 2500 rounds, I feel save in giving it two thumbs up. It is lightweight and has a small foot print which is exactly what I needed for my bench set up. I does everything that the description says it will but it does have a couple of MINOR quirks that took a little time to get used to. The touch screen on my unit is a little stubborn at the on / off button (lower right corner), even if I used a stylus from my smartphone half of the time I can not get the unit to turn off without playing with it a few times. It will eventually turn off but it can get annoying. The scale is as accurate as can be expected but you'll want to keep your powder tickler handy. I use extruded powder (VV N340) most of the time. And we all know it is the most difficult to meter. If I program the unit for 6.0 grains, 90% of the loads will be 5.9 and the rest will be 6.0... So far the unit has not thrown one OVER load yet. The specs are +/- one tenth (.1) of a grain and she seems to always favor the low side. For loading practice / range loads it not a big deal... It would be nice if the Lyman engineers would add a bump or momentary trickle feature to the keypad. I just tap the dispenser tube and get it to drop a little more in to get my desired effect. OR sometimes I just cheat and program it for 6.1 because more time than not, it's going to throw the load at 6.0 anyways. It come with a piece that you can screw onto the end of the dispenser tube that aids in trickling out small amounts of powder to help the accuracy. I think it's their answer to the internet trick of the soda straw to aid in the final grains going into the pan. It works! I tried the straw trick and so no difference between their adapter and the straw. LOL cosmetically it does look better! The unit is static sensitive and your readings may drift if you have wireless devices close by. So just be aware of that. One other SMALL annoyance that I have noticed is that extruded powder granules like to bounce out of the gold powder pan and CAN get between the scale and the plastic housing. Normally it stays out where you can get to it easily for clean up or you can simply just blow it off of the unit. Cleaning and emptying the unit is easy once you do it a time or two and the unit comes with an extra set of dust seals for the dispensing tube (should you ever need them). My main purpose for buying this unit was to speed up the process and get rid of the problems that I was having with my manual powder measure system. It has done that to my satisfaction completely. If you are looking for a basic entry level automatic electronic scale system, then I recommend this as your starting point. If you need one that can remember all of your different loads, etc then this is NOT the unit for you. It has no memory... Well worth the money in my book.

New Trick For An Old Dog
I have been reloading my own ammunition for 40 years and have always used the RCBS Uniflow powder measure and balance beam scales. I finally talked myself into upgrading to digital scales and decided to go all the way and get the powder measure/scale combo. I wish I had done this years ago. The Lyman Gen 6 is accurate, simple to operate and easy to clean. It reduces my loading time by about 25% because to set a charge, all I have to do is enter it in the keypad and away we go. Using the auto repeat function, once I dump a charge in a case and return it to the scale, it automatically drops the next charge while I am seating the bullet. No more tedious adjustments and reweighing to get the powder charge I want. I ran a set of test loads with it against the Uniflow and balance beam scales ... I won't get rid of my old school stuff, I even keep the balance beam scale set on the same charge just to keep the Lyman honest but I am really enjoying the increased accuracy and productivity of the Lyman. If you are on the fence about getting one of these, take it from this old dog and go ahead and do it.

It's certainly a much quicker way to reload than using a thrower, a beam scale & a trickler. Especially since the thrower is way off compared to this device, and the tricker is a very slow way of getting it right. (using stick-type powder, removed the plastic restrictor from the outlet tube straight away) The throwing is fast, no questions about that. Twenty-some seconds for average 308 target loads (44-45 grains). It does not always get it perfect, often it's 0.1 grains over, but this is very easy to "fix"; just set it to throw 0.1 under. When it's under (i.e. correct to the given measure) - just tap the outlet, it'll drop a couple of pieces of powder, and you're good! The scale is very accurate, accurate enough for the average shooter in my opinion. (Not A grade F-class match ... The check was done with an RCBS beam scale, and I can say it's within 0.05 grains. If you're clever, you can catch this small discrepancy sometimes; as you lift the pan a bit and let it back on, the scale quickly counts up, and last number maybe a number under or over by 0.1 as it settles. If so, it's off by ~0.05 grains. Cleaning is also relatively easy - not harder than cleaning the trower. The footprint is small - which a big bonus for me. The one negative I can mention is the loud beep on completion - I'd really love to be able to disable that, or at least reduce the volume. All in all, if you trust the scale and this accuracy is enough for you, you can easily cut the reload time in half compared to the thrower+trickler method. Otherwise you can replace the thrower, and probably still gain some time; this thing very seldom goes over by more than 0.1grain.

Easy to use at good price, for my circumstances.
Easy to use. Does what I want which is to repeat a set powder quantity quite well. All electronic things have to be double checked, this needs it also. Occasional over or under runs are easy to correct, but I need another measure along side it to atert me to the need to correct. Still better than totally beam balancing.

I have been using a balance beam scale for about 20 years now. I had looked at electronic dispensers and scales for a few years, but finally decided to buy the Lyman Gen6 after reading all the positive reviews. Instructions are easy and setup is simple. Ran a batch of H4350 and is lot easier and more accurate than powder measure then weighing each charge. Usually throws exact charge, throws 0.1 gr low occassionally. One went over 0.2 gr and dumped back in the hopper. This along with my new Lyman case prep center has simplified the most tedious tasks of reloading, making it more enjoyable. I have the ease of automatic operation for about the same price of a good quality manual dispenser and scale.
