    Excellent product

    Used this product before...excellent sealer, very easy to apply, a little goes a long way . I use it to seal slate in my shower cubicle ...perfect. Other reviews have mentioned the smell, it does smell when applied and lingers for a few hours after but it soon goes , open windows if possible as per instructions . I wait 3 days after sealing before I use my shower .

    shame there was shine

    it did brink out the colour my travetine out door terrace but was very very washed out looking and looked like no sheen at all, i would have liked a bit of a shine,but it has waterproof d the tiles, just disapointed with finish

    Well worth the money !

    It went onto the tiles easily and when it had dried my tiles looked brand new again. I need to apply a second coat as this will enhance and protect my tiles even more. An amazing product which does what it says.

    It stinks! But it's very effective.

    Seems to work very well, I've applied just the one coat to some bathroom travertine tiles and it appears to have waterproofed them nicely - the water just runs off now rather than soaking in. Plus, the tiles look exactly the same as before they were treated. This seems to be a wax-based formulation so I don't know how it will cope with repeated contact with hot water and soap though. Plus, it made the bathroom smell like an oil refinery for a few days, but it's completely cleared now. Oh, and it only took a few tablespoons to do the whole room - a little goes a long way!

    Duck tiles

    Although the product spec for the matt tiles I bought stated that they don't require sealing, it seemed counterintuitive, since they absorb water, and were intended for a bathroom. This product not only enhances the appearance of them, but repels water like a proverbial duck's back. Since I live in a hard water area, this should also prevent the unpleasant scale that builds up on anything subject to splashing or immersion. Excellent product.
