Solid deal
I don't own enough scopes to do a real comparison to higher end optics but I've seen the clarity of others. This one has some pretty clear glass. No artifacts or issues with the one I received. The etched reticle is also pretty small and precise. The zoom is a little stiff to start but it gets easier to move over time. Focus works well as a set it and leave it. Eye relief is to be about expected and if you're not able to retain a solid reflex cheek weld these kinds of optics might not work well for you and you might want to go with a red dot. You need to be dead on to see through the glass clearly without hitting the walls. As for how it holds zero or dials in I can't speak on, so take this review for what it is. I have a feeling the included mount will work 'ok' but you probably want to invest in a better one with quick release. The brightness of the illuminated reticle is decent but if you crank it up too much you're dealing with a little glow in the glass. I don't know anything about 'Hammers' but I figured it's worth a shot to try out with something like a Monstrum being the alternative for the price. Well I was bored so here I am months later after shooting it.. This scope is solid. I eyed it sighting it in with a cheaper laser bore sighter and it was on enough to hit 10 inch steel at 100 yards consistently. About 500 rounds later it's still holding true. Have not taken it past 100 yards.

Very poor optics
In my opinion this is good optic for a 22, or an air rifle (with good lighting) and not much else. The green/red function of the illumination washes out your field of view as though the LED was shining on the lens and not through the reticule. If you’re going to keep it, throw the battery away because this feature is worthless.

Great optic especially for the price
Well for the price you cant complain. The circle dot reticle is great for up close hunting . Its zoom is fine to 4x .I will say Its seen weather extremes from raining in the morning to sub zero temperatures in the evening in the blind and it still works fine . I use it on a 350 legend rifle for white tail . Comparing it to a vortex or a leupold there is a lot left to be desired. I wouldn't take this to Afghanistan to fight the islamic state. worth the money!
can not be used as a red dot on 1x. black dot doesn't show up very well. love the illuminated reticles! Great for short to mid range shooting. Scope is very clear. This will co witness with included mounts.

Scope hammers
I bought this for my AR as a beginner scope for tactical shoot and go 50-100 yards. Love the red dot ring. Better view and no cross hairs to block targets. Would like to see a lever on the adjust ring but I can hit steel and 250 yards. So had 9 months and really seems to be holding zero. Can't beat price on a single focal plain scope.
