A lot of research about replacing the broken B & S and this one had the biggest capacity at a good price. It certainly does the job and has plenty of power from its single cylinder. Easy starting too. Research the bolt pattern carefully, particularly with a view to cylinder orientation. Fortunately my baseplate had two sets of holes in it but you may need to drill some yourself, which is no great problem for such a good engine.
