They work well for thinner wire (0.5mm max), but I wouldn’t recommend them for anything thicker. Despite being labeled as orthodontic pliers, they seem better suited for jewelry making. That said, the seller was great—well-packaged item and they quickly sent a replacement when I reported the issue. Positive experience with the seller, but the product itself could be more durable.
