    Great system, does what it says

    I got this because of the ability to control my heating from my phone and the geofencing feature. It was very reasonably priced too, and seemed to have a simple set up. The smart thermostat worked first time and was very easy to install. I had a little bit of messing around to get the extension going and get the hot water under control too but it was not hard to install and it is now all working well. I like it, the upgrade to the house systems is excellent. So far it is great, just what i needed. The geofencing works well and detects my position using my phone, and i like this feature because it does not require me to be paying attention all the time!

    Expensive way to save a little energy

    I like my new Tado smart meter system, but having spent a total of £180 or so on just a basic thermostat and receiver, is it worth it? I suppose time will tell. I had first bought the starter kit, and it didn't come with the receiver. What the hell kind of starter kit doesn't include all the things you need to start with?

    Extra expense for Tado system

    This product is needed if you have a boiler that is not directly connected to your thermostat. Where other manufacturers provide it as part of the package you need to buy it separately for Tado. This does make the system more expensive. I didn’t have a choice but to pay extra for this unit.

    Works perfectly

    Control of water from phone and with scheduling set up. Terrifying to look at what needs re-wiring but personalised instructions from Tado take you through it step by step. Great company. Very helpful.

    Totally mistak

    I will never buy products from tado again. It’s shows that it’s compatible with almost all boilers but is not true. My is on list but is not working at all.
