    Good one-shame about the inks!

    A bit wary at first, the cheap price and no inks included, but turns out it's a good printer. I managed to order the wrong inks at first attempt but did get the correct ones afterwards and the printer works a treat now. Shame that HP do not standardise the inks that would work on any of any of their printers(I have other ones and spare inks) but alas and alack(if that is a word?) not to be. Regards and Happy new year. Wvc.

    Set up not for the faint hearted

    For a printer this cheap, print quality is good, and speed fairly good. The big negative is set up. This ia arouind the 6th printer I have had, and it was by a long way the most difficult to set up for wifi. Printer came without an installation cd. I tried HP's web chat and asked for help with installation, to be met everytime with a response "don't understand your question". Eventually I had to call ,my service engineer in, and it took him almost 30 minutes, but is not up and running. A tip for HP employ people on your help desk who can reply to the most basic of queries.

    Excellent

    Was unsure wether to purchase another HP printer after my previous HP inkjet 3000 series was awful from the start, wouldn’t print straight & was incredibly difficult to set up. However this envy was a doddle & prints beautifully

    Excellent printer, easy to set up and lots of functions. I was looking for a printer to print photos on A4 paper without a white border. This prints straight to the edge and results are really good.

    No cartridges supplied

    Be careful......whilst the printer itself is perfectly okay, it was hugely frustrating because it didn’t arrive with any ink cartridges. This meant before setting up I had to send off for ink, which took another week to arrive. Obviously, the cost of the cartridges (£25) added to the overall cost. Lesson: read the small print - it probably said ‘Cartridges not inc’ but it was easy to miss.
