      Actual OEM battery as far as I can tell.

      The battery for this phone is one of the hardest ones to source because of all the knock-offs out there. This one has the near field communications chip, it actually appears to have 1650mAh capacity, and as far as I can tell it's the real deal: an OEM battery. I plan to buy more before the seller runs out.

      Issues with EB-L1A2GBA

      There are 2 issues with this battery. 1. Vendors have substituted the Samsung EB-F1xxxxx which will fit the Galaxy S2 but WILL NOT WORK. 2. It isn't possible to tell a new battery (holds charge for 24+ hours) from a previously used (holds charge for maybe 6 hours) from a very used one (holds charge 1 hour) just by looking at them since no external wear will be seen. Otherwise, the "use, design, and value" questions are all "yes."
