      Good stuff

      Good stuff. Got it as a replacement for my old Ronseal Eco range, which is no longer in production. Water based so easy to clean. Covers and protects well.

      coagulated until put in hot water

      I bought 2 cans of this sealer oil to protect my new royal craft furniture. The instructions said to put two coats on prior to putting the furniture outside. I had 6 recliner chairs to do and a round 1.5m gateleg table. I applied the oil with a brush so I could get in all the slatted areas. I left the oil to soak in for a few hrs before wiping the surplus off. I couldn't put two coats on as the first 3 weeks to a month later still had not dried properly. I am still wiping it off over a month later. Most of it is reasonably dry now and it looks nice and enriches the grain but there are still areas that globules of oil are still coming to the surface that I have to wipe off. The whole furniture has still got a slightly oily surface. Would I use it again NO. because I like to use the ...

      Ronseal hardwood furniture oil..

      Used on a new Oak garden seat. Product is thin, so is readily absorbed into the wood and brings out the grain pattern, applied several coats as instructions, which left a beautiful, water proof finish.

      Different but just as good maybe better

      Have had the old version of this before, so was a bit worried by the new appearance, more milky, but works in well and clean up is easier - only time will tell if it lasts as long as the older oil based product
