    Great little melting furnace

    I bought this furnace to melt brass and copper, and it has worked out very well for me. I have only used it for about a week but I have already done about 16 or 17 melts with it and it has surpassed my expectations. The temperature is shown in Celcius and there does not appear to be any way to change it to Farenheit, but this isn't a big deal because conversion is easily done with a conversion table, calculator, etc. The temperature controller works very well and maintains a fairly consistent temperature. It would be a good idea to purchase a few extra crucibles with this furnace since all graphite crucibles degrade with each use - something that happens with any kind of melting furnace whether it is electric, gas fired, or oil fired. I would estimate that I could probably do another ...
