TEN Stars!!! Helps in ANY stage of outbreak -
Oh sweet relief!!!! I am in the middle of a severe poison ivy/oak outbreak and besides missing the fact for a while that this WAS poison ivy going on, I have tried so many products and herbs to try and help and NOTHING gave as much relief as using this soap. The package comes with three smaller, single-use bars (like a motel soap) about 1/4" in width and one is to use it all up at one time, or throw away what wasn't used up. Wash in as hot as water as you can stand. Sounds like it would be agony to scrub (with multiple large areas on my body with raised welts that are oozing and looking like a third degree burn or something...) but it actually feels SO good to scrub those areas! The soap gets applied right over the outbreak areas, scrubbing for 30 seconds at least and then rinsing ... Oh sweet relief!!!! The skin is tougher than we think it is, and this soap is removing the irritant - the Urushiol - that is causing the weeping, oozing and burning. NO more annoying itching!!! No bleeding - just drying it up. Yes, I needed to go into the second bar (more oozing this am in spots) and I cut the next bar in two - using half this time until gone... and thrifty me - I have another half to use again if this second dose doesn't do the trick. Yes - my skin still is very red, sore and bumpy after the second treatment, but the welts have flattened and that annoying itch has practically gone away. (There still may be more areas that might pop up... that I didn't scrub... but I have the solution- more soap bars!) Once the areas have turned towards healing I can use my herbs and salves again on my skin, also remembering my immune system support herbs (taking a beating) - as well as keeping the body 'plumbing' working well to aid in removing the toxins from my body. (I was weak, sweaty, and quite run down with all of these outbreaks going on all over my body... a severe outbreak is no fun at all.) What I love is that this soap is NOT a suppressant - but it binds with the oil residue that is obviously still present on my skin (even after multiple showers and baths this past week) - and washes it away. LOVE THAT!!! This soap will ALWAYS be on hand here at our house - recommended HANDS DOWN! Get some! This is worth its weight in gold when it is needed.

People who leave negative often one star reviews complaining about small size of soap for $10 or so, Please het real. You not shopping for a fancy 7oz bar that will last for month or two. This single bar is designed for single use relief from scratching and reducing an outbreak and eventually eradicating it completely. Try cut it in half, use at once or toss it. The relief alone is worth tenfold . Im buying in bulk for every summer to have on hand. Just like one reviewer stated earlier “hot water+intense scrubbing “ does the trick especially at bad outbreak. However is good to use every time when you suspect you got in contact with poison. Best soap for poison ivy or poison oak
This is the best. I had poison ivy 3 times 1 summer. I found this soap at my local drug store and have used ever since.I've been clearing land and when done I take my bath and use this soap. U must wash w/ the bar itself and not on a cloth. No poison ivy since. I break bars in half cause it can only be used 1 time and throw away the remaining soap. Dont miss a spot on your body or else.

Life Saver
This product works exceptionally well in relieving the itch and spread of poison ivy. I keep it on-hand all the time. I will not be caught with out it. This is the only product on the market that will relieve the pain and suffering of poison ivy, oak, sumac. I have tried almost every product and none holds a candle to this product.
