    Arrived in less than 48 hours, tracked Royal Mail. Replacement for existing fan that lasted years, so was easy to install in minutes. The new-style facia with its smooth rounded appearance looks nice and should not collect dust like the previous fan though this was never a big problem and could be wiped off with a duster. Noise is fairly low, just the slight whoosh of the air and a gentle hum that can barely be heard from outside the room Overall a good quality fan that should last for years.

    Greenwood Airvac Extractor Fan

    Nice looking unit, well made . Only criticism are the plastic clips for the securing the grill to the main body, not that easy to remove grill and almost impossible if the unit is up against a wall. Also the plastic “ hook” mechanism to gain access to the terminal connection not easy to operate, instruction not helpful.

    cheap rubbish

    very small spring on the butterfly flaps on the rear of the fan the spring rusts within 12 months and then they are inoperative. greenwood do not supply spare springs. not the first of these fans that I have had I thought thy may have improved them.

    Like for like replacement

    Several of these fans are installed in my home, so it makes sense to have a like for like replacement when an original fails. (Nothing worse than not being able to utilise screw holes from previous unit!). The supplier, MCD Electrical, gave me sound advice regarding a slightly different model to an existing unit. I took their advice, purchased the unit, and installed it within 15 minutes. I find these fans to be quite efficient, producing good airflow compared to other manufacturers fans. I like the fact that Greenwood have not altered the built in cable run, the cable requirements, or the body screw fixing points.

    Replacement Bathroom Extractor Fan. Product as advertised, good value.

    Purchased this product has a direct replacement for a existing Greenwood Airvax 100mm fan which had lasted over 18 years. the only difference in the product, the shutter system. Wiring connections virtually in the same location

    Good quality basic Fan

    Just a quick pointer, I had to replace a Greenwood Fan that had a Greenwood duct already fitted , NOTE these kits are smaller than a standard 4” duct Or Soilpipe used as a duct , the Spigot end on the Greenwood fan is 97mm so if you buy Vent Axia or Xpelair it won’t fit , this fan is a good basic Fan
