    FOAMING EXCELLENCE

    Foaming excellence and so much cheaper than all the la de dah brands. Good stuff, pity razor blades are not such good value. And the tub recycles!

    It works and it's cheap, but the Palmolive shave stick is far better

    Used this solidly for a month before switching to the Palmolive shave stick. You *can* get a decent lather out of it but even in a soft water area it takes a lot of effort; you have to load the brush quite heavily and then spend plenty of time working the lather and topping it up with extra drops of water. By contrast the Palmolive shave stick delivers a slicker and more protective lather for a lot less effort, and has a better post-shave feel. On the plus side the Wilkie is a very hard soap and should last a long, long time, also the plastic bowl is both cool and practical. Overall however I can't say I'd recommend it.

    shaving soap bowl

    used this item before was pleased with results so have this new one to replace used up one. nice tidy way to keep your shaving soap, much better than a messy stick or aerosol cream gives a better shave where you want it. will use thus again and again and again.

    Excellent product

    Does the job superbly well of making shaving soap available for each wet shave, keeping the soap surface level (because poured in?) in an easily cleanable container. Fragrance nothing special - pity!, but that's the only downside so far. Still on first bowl, so don't know whether defects will appear later.

    Used this brand for years, it lathers up and gives great coverage. I prefer this to any shaving foam or shave sticks. The scent is perfect too.
