I let them know on the 13th Dec, no reply left reminders on 17th, 19th and on the 20th a reminder stating I was about to leave feedback, then got a reply requesting a further pic. I sent extra pic and had a reply asking for time to investigate, then nothing, I sent reminder on 8th Jan - still no reply - very disappointed.

    Gives Fantastic Results

    This yeast is excellent. It gives amazing results in my wholemeal bread loaves and butter croissants. Far better than anything you can buy in the supermarket. It goes a long way but I freeze the bulk of it and take out a small tubful at a time. That way, the yeast stays as fresh as the day I opened it right to the last spoonful. I have been using this brand of yeast for over a year and would not choose anything else now I have experienced such huge success with it. Fantastic value too.

    Not as good as I hoped.

    Couldn't get it to activate properly. My bread was not so good using this, sorry, I like to give good reviews, it did work but just not as well as my usual yeast. Perhaps my expectations were too high, I was expecting something more than my usual shop bought yeast.

    Does what I want it to do

    It's yeast for my bread making machine. I couldn't buy my usual brand, all the supermarkets and on line suppliers had sold out. I have decanted some off into my usual brand's tin. The rest I have sealed in its packaging and a freezer bag. I have stashed it in my fridge. It will be interesting to see how well it keeps. The portions I have used work perfectly well, as good as my usual brand. If it keeps ok in the fridge I may well purchase this product again from eBay in preference to my usual brand. 500g is a useful amount to have in stock at home. Not sure whether or not it's good value. It's difficult to compare under the present circumstances. There does seem to be some variationin price, even on eBay

    Fermipan Red instant yeast

    In the time of lockdown flour and yeast was hard to get hold of. All yeast prices were inflated. This was a relatively good bargain but was right near it's best by date. It worked fine and produced a fast rise and a good crumb .The vacuum packaging had worked well. It left no flavour and was slightly better than my usual brand. I'd recommend it but with a longer end date if possible.

    Don't let the pizza photo fool you!

    instant dried yeast 500g size, bought in this larger amount than what's available at supermarket, kept in fridge and used as needed. Lasted about one year, two homemade bread and one pizza made weekly.
