    After the great train robbery,the Italian job,There was a gap that needing filling,The Who films did this with McVicar. Gutsy performance from Roger Daltry(The Who),Adam faith,and a band of actors that maid this movie receive 10/10 from me. it's above prison movies,and the Soundtrack music from a solo project from Mr Daltry,was excellent too.It's also got a tongue in cheek,type of humour to it aswell It's a classic in it's own right. MUST SEE

    Prison escapade

    This was a fantastic copy of a fantastic piece of film dated around 70s 1 of my partners fav film which I had never seen. Was exciting and engaging thing with the film is you know the main character has done wrong but you're still rooting for him in a battle of morals

    Great British movie based on McVicar by Himself, fascinating book about the life of a bank robber. Great scenes and characters - amazing soundtrack by The Who. Memorable performance from all, especially Adam faith and Roger Daltrey.

    Good film overall.

    You dont expect shakespeare standard acting for a film like this but Roger Daltery was impressive as McVicar.I also liked the soundtrack Free me at the start whilst seeing the police escort the condemned man away.Classic.
