      The rack needs screwing to a door in order to bear the weight of shoes. The screws provided are too small and fiddly to be effective. Once I got it properly attached to the door it was fine. It only holds 2 pairs per row unlike the illustration, and things like ankle boots aren't a good fit, but overall it's a good storage solution once it's properly in situ.

      the shelf is very useful but too flimsy, and can only go on the back of a door. I've had to modify a backing for it so the shoes don't avalanche on the panelled door. Just, kinda poorly designed, still, very useful though.
