      Will work on most things except jars.

      It has been pretty useful for most things except jars where the nib glides of the glass without a cut or scratch. Besides this one minor detail it seems to cut into everything else but does require you to go over it a few times for darker or deeper cuts. Also edges and curves take a bit of practice to cut such as the letter S.

      Very poorly made

      Bought to be used on site (have lost scribes while out so wanted a cheaper item) but this is so poorly made the soft steel tip in the aluminium insert just falls out. Not worth the trouble so please avoid. Hope thid helps.

      Easy to use

      Only slight criticism is you have to go over etches a few times, but this is to be expected with a manual pen device. For anything stronger or precise you would need something electric
